Chairman Gunn called the regular meeting to order at 8:00 a.m.
CITIZEN PARTICIPATION
None.
MINUTES
The December 2, 1998 and December 27, 1998 meeting minutes were accepted as
presented.
TREASURER/FINANCIAL REPORTS
Project Manager Anderson presented the financial reports ending November 30, 1998.
The sales tax tabulations for the urban renewal area were also distributed.
COMMISSIONER AND COMMITTEE REPORTS
None.
ADMINISTRATIVE COMMUNICATIONS
None.
PROJECT REPORTS/ACTIONS
Resolution 267 - Designating Public Place for Posting Notices of Meetings.
Director Anderson reported that the amended “Colorado Sunshine Act of 1972 , CRS
Section 24-6-402 (2) (c), requires yearly designation of a public place to post notices of
meetings. The lobby area immediately adjacent to the Administrative Offices in the
Estes Park Municipal Building at 170 MacGregor Avenue, Estes Park, Colorado, is
desitnated as the public place for posting meeting notices for the Estes Park Urban
Renewal Authority. Director Anderson read the resolution. It was moved and
seconded (Henderson/Putney) Resolution No. 267 be accepted as presented, and it
passed unanimously.
Approval of Expenditure — Design Studios West (DSW). During the months of
November and December, DSW performed site design work for the Mountain Discovery
Center totaling $12,663.59. It was moved and seconded (Wasson/Widmer) to
approve expenditures as presented, and it passed unanimously.
Memorandum to Board. Director Anderson announced that effective May 14, 1999,
he will retire from his position at the Estes Park Urban Renewal Authority.
The Committee adjourned to a study session at 8:15 a.m.
The next regular meeting will be February 17, 1999, at 8:00 a.m.
