MINUTES The June 17, 1998 regular meeting minutes were accepted as presented. COMMISSIONER AND COMMITTEE REPORTS Commissioner Steige reported on an article regarding Eagle Rock School that appeared in the Sunday New York Times Magazine, and wished to congratulate those individuals who were instrumental in locating the School in Estes Park. TREASURER/FINANCIAL REPORTS Finance Officer Vavra presented the financial reports ending May 31st and June 30th. Commissioner Klaphake noted that Community Reinvestment funds were used to psy the Fire Station debt. Director Anderson reported that the Knoll payment for 1998 has been made and will be included in the July financial report. ADMINISTRATIVE COMMUNICATIONS Commissioner Klaphake referred to the announcement of the Mountain Discovery Center and noted EPURA's role in accomplishing this project. As of July 1st Project Manager Anderson transitioned from full time to part time. Commissioner Klaphake will be the public information officer for EPURA projects, which includes communication with the EPURA Commissioners. Project Manager Anderson will negotiate contracts and the development of the assigned projects. BRADFORD PUBLISHING CO.RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Estes Park Urban Renewal Authority, July 15, 1998 — Page 2 PROJECT REPORTS/ACTIONS Street Signs Contract Award: Manager Anderson reported that the fabrication and installation of the Elkhorn Avenue directional signs were solicited from three firms: Arapahoe Sign Arts Dimension Graphics Gardner Signs $18,200 $ 9,840 No bid The sign at the east entrance of the Municipal Parking Lot will be installed in early August. The remaining signs will be installed after September 15th to avoid conflict with the tourist season. It was moved and seconded (Wasson-Swank) the proposal from Dimension Graphics totaling $9,840 for fabrication and installation of the Elkhorn Avenue directional signs be accepted, and it passed unanimously.
