Vice Chair Swank called the meeting to order at 8;00 a.m.
MINUTES
It was moved and seconded (Gunn/Henderson) that the minutes of the
rescheduled meeting of September 15, 1993 be approved as prepared,
and it passed unanimously.
LIAISON
Commissioner Klaphake reported that the Town/EPURA Joint Budget
Meetings are scheduled for October 20 and 27. Commissioners Pauley
and Henderson are EPURA's representatives to these meetings. Each
Commissioner will be mailed a Town Budget information packet.
AUTHORITY BUSINESS
Preliminary 1994 Budget: The 1994 preliminary budget was presented
to the Board as required by state statute. Director Anderson
reviewed the three components of the budget; general fund, capital
projects fund, and debt service fund.
Bond Refinancing Update: it was moved and seconded (Henderson/
Gunn) that Diane Barrett from the firm of Haligman and Lottner be
nired as bond attorney, and it passed unanimously.
It was moved and seconded (Gunn/Henderson) that the Bank of Cherrv
Creek be selected as the Trustee and Ken Buchius be assigned as the
Trustee Officer, and it passed unanimously.
Director Anderson reviewed the revised tentative time schedule for
bond refinancing, with closing expected by December 2, 1993. The
purpose of the refinancing is to levelize payment on the Conference
Center to coincide with inflation.
There being no further business, it was moved that the Board
adjourn to Executive Session to discuss negotiations regarding the
Stanley Historic District. Those voting Yes: Gunn, Henderson,
Klaphake, and Swank. Those voting No; None. The meeting
adjourned at 8:32 a.m. The next meeting will be November 4, 1993 at 8:00 a.m. ' '
