This is a rescheduled meeting as per Board action taken at the last
meeting. Chairman Pauley called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m.
MINUTES
It was moved and seconded (Gunn-Swank) that the minutes of the
September 2, 1993 regular meeting be approved as prepared, and it
passed unanimously.
FINANCIAL REPORT
It was moved and seconded (Henderson-Gunn) that the financial
report ending August 1993 be accepted as prepared, and it passed
unanimously.
AUTHORITY BUSINESS
Refunding of Bonds, Series 1988 and 1989: Director Anderson asked
that staff be authorized to investigate through the Board's
financial consultants, George K. Baum, the refunding _ of the
existing bonds. This would not include any time extension, but
would allow greater compliance with Amendment #1. It was moved and
seconded (Swank-Henderson) that staff be authorized to continue
investigation into possible refinancing of Urban Renewal Authority
debt, and it passed unanimously.
STAFF
Director Anderson reported that the Stanley Historic District Road
is under construction and is on schedule.
COMMISSIONER CONCERNS
Chair Pauley appointed Commissioner Henderson and Chair Pauley as
representatives on the Joint Budget Committee, with Polly Gunn as
an alternate.
There being no further business, it was moved that the Board
adjourn to Executive Session to discuss negotiations regarding
Stanley Master Plan negotiations. Those voting Yes: _ Gunn,
Henderson, Klaphake, Pauley, Putney, and Swank. Those voting No:
None. The meeting adjourned at 8:15 a.m. The next regularly
scheduled meeting will be October 7, 1993, at 8:00 a.m.
