Chairman Pauley called the meeting to order at 8:30 AM and welcomed
Commissioner Henderson to the Board.
Minutes of the July 5, 1990 meeting were approved as prepared.
CITIZEN PARTICIPATION
Haber Building - Honor Award - Chairman Pauley presented Ralph
Haber with an EPURA Honor Award, recognizing Mr. Haber's
contribution to the downtown area's redevelopment.
BILLS - It was moved and seconded (Godbolt-Ericson) the bills be
paid. Motion carried.
TREASURER'S REPORT - It was moved and seconded (Pohl-Ericson) the
Treasurer's Report be accepted into the record. Motion carried.
STAFF
Director Anderson reported:
1) East Riverside Park landscaping is scheduled for next
week;
2) Riverwalk landscaping to Barlow Plaza is anticipated
within the next two weeks;
3) Final shipment of streetlights is scheduled for today;
4) Patching/paving of the parking lot next to the 300
Building is expected to be completed this week;
5) Paving of the parking lot next to Brownfield's will be
finished when the walkway is completed;
6) Underground utilities under the Town's pedestrian bridge
to EPURA's pedestrian bridge are anticipated to be
installed within the next two weeks;
7) Riverwalk completion from the West end of the project
through Barlow Plaza is expected the first week in
August. Completion date for the remainder of the project
is expected shortly after Labor Day. It is also
anticipated that overhead utility lines will be removed
at this time;
8) Sundance Center streetlights will be installed when
lightpole bases and underground trenching are completed;
Commissioner Pohl expressed appreciation to the family who
anonymously donated funds for playground equipment at East
Riverside Park. Commissioner Pohl also stated he felt the
RiverFest entertainment is much improved this year.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:45
AM.
