Minutes of a Regular meeting of the COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
COMMITTEE of the Town of Estes Park, Larimer County, Colorado. Meeting
held in Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the 5th day of November
2009.

COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT-
WINTER FESTIVAL REQUEST TO USE BOND PARK.
A number of local groups are working together to organize a Winter Festival in Estp«;
anuary and ,17 ’ 2010 with the goal of bringing people to Town during the
Winter season and in conjunction with other events being held the same weekend The

Which include the Museum, Senior Center, Visitors Center, Special Events and
Fairgrounds, and Conference Center Sales and Marketing.
Mgr. Mitchell spoke to the decrease in the number of people participating in the meals

agencies, such as the museum, are planned to boost the number of participants.

that was performed at the museum which indicates that the collection storage at the

museum is inadequate. She said the study will be reviewed by the Friends of the
Museum, an organization that is charged with helping with capital improvements at the
museum, and used as a roadmap for increasing collections storage capacity in the
future. Trustee Miller said the report contained beneficial information and requested
that it be included as a report on an upcoming Town Board meeting agenda.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT.
IHE NEIGHBORHOOD REVISED AGREEMENTS AND FEE WAIVER REQUESTS.
Pawnee Meadows, LLC is requesting a waiver of fees associated with an application to
divide three lots in The Neighborhood Subdivision into five lots, and the building permit
and plan review fees for the initial home construction for the two additional single family
lots. The fees for the two new lots are estimated at $13,700. All five lots will be deed-
restricted as attainable housing. In 2005, the Town Board waived all fees for the
original Neighborhood Subdivision application and building permit and plan review fees
for all 30 single family lots in the subdivision.
Mark Elrod, Town resident, spoke in opposition of the fee waiver request.

After discussion, the Committee recommended approval of the fee waiver request as
outlined above for the Amended plat of Lots 15,16 and 17, Block 2, The Neighborhood
