Dannels,Charles F.lix,Glenn Prosser,Robert E. Wagner,Gerald H.Brownfield Also Attending:George L.Mowery,Secretary Minutes of a regular meeting held November 17,1970,were read and approved as read. The owners of the property,Rock Ridge Development Corporation,presented an annexation plat of the “Hospital Addition”.Mr.Julian Ebersold,a member of the Hospital Board,told of some possible plans for development of this ground but nothing is complete at this time.The Larimer County Health Department may be interested in space in any facility placed here. There is some possibility of association with major hospitals and possi bly helicopter-ambulance service. The secretary,George L.Mowery,read several letters that were received from the Town Engineer,Light and Power Superintendent,Water Superinten dent and the Colorado State Highway office concerning streets and utilities. Member Dannels moved that the Commission recommend approval of the annexa tion plat subject to: a.The present 50’width of Prospect Avenue should be extended west to the unnamed street going north through the Little Prospect Mountain Addition. b.The present 50’width of Fir Avenue should be extended along the right of way from Prospect Avenue south about 389’and southwesterly about 524’. Member Brownfield seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion un animous ly carried. Member Prosser moved that the proposed changes in Chapter 21 of the Municipal Code of the Town of Estes Park be presented to the Board of Trustees for their consideration and approval.Member Hix seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Dwight Whitney,Larimer County Planning Office,explained a new concept in State Planning and Federal Funding.There has been a Regional Plan ning Commission set up that is comprised of Weld and Larimer Counties. Water,sewer,planning and other project requests for federal funds will be directed to this Regional Planning Office.Priorities will be set by the Regional Planning Office with sewer and housing projects receiving first priority.This method follows state and federal requirements. Mr.Whitney will follow through on our present 701 grant request.This 701 grant request will have to be re-submitted through Regional Plann ing OfficeSin the spring or fall. 00 RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Page two Planning Commission Meeting December 15,1970 Hogan and Associates,representing James K.Kezer,owner of Lot 12, Little Prospect Mountain Addition,presented a Planned Unit Development P? in this area.Approximately twenty-five units are to be developed around private streets on a ten acre site.It was suggested that Mr.Hogan wait until such time as a Planned Unit Development ordinance be adopted by the Town of Estes Park rather than submitting a plan now and requesting so many variances.
