Chairman Habecker called the meeting to order at 9:00 A.M.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES.
Amended minutes of the meeting held December 14, 1990 were approved as
submitted.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS.
It was moved and seconded (Garrett-Barker) the Board elect David Habecker as
Chairman and A1 Sager as Vice-Chairman, and it passed unanimously.
461 BIG HORN DRIVE - REQUEST FOR VARIANCE.
Building Inspector Allman stated the Petitioner, David J. Racine, is
requesting a variance from the required 25 ft. setback to 8 ft. on the West
and 22 ft. on the South. Staff findings indicate:
1. The only open area on the lot is to the south.
2. There are a number of natural rock outcroppings on this site that
need to be protected from damage.
3. The property is unique because of old trees, slope, and rock
outcroppings.
Staff recommends approval of the setbacks as shown on the site plan. It was
moved and seconded (Garrett-Barker) this variance be granted, and it passed
unanimously.
1260 BIG THOMPSON AVENUE - REQUEST FOR VARIANCE.
Building Inspector Allman stated the Petitioner, Wallace Burke, is requesting
a variance from the required 25 ft. setback to 21 feet on the south. Staff
findings indicate:
1. There is a gradual slope to the property to the south.
2. The proposed addition will be greater than the 15 foot minimal from
the property line and will line up with the present projection.
Staff recommends approval of the setback as shown on the site plan. It was
moved and seconded (Garrett-Newsom) this variance be granted, and it passed
unanimously.
SET REGULAR MEETING TIME FOR BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT.
Board of Adjustment meetings will be held the first Wednesday of each month
(if necessary) at 9:00 A.M. There being no further business. Chairman
Habecker adjourned the meeting at 9:15 A.M.
