scheme—the relationship of asking for a variance and overall
planning are not agreeable. In summary, the remaining members
stated that the property is unique, certain sensitive areas should
be saved, and that the request does meet the criteria to allow a
variance. Those voting in favor of the motion: Members Sager and
Garrett—motion defeated. Those voting against; Members Barker,
Habecker and Newsom. Whereupon, Member Barker moved the variance
be granted, and that credit be allowed for the seven (7) bus
parking spaces, for the difference between the proposed 450 spaces
and required 505 spaces, for 101,000 sq. ft, of floor area. Member
Newsom seconded the motion and it passed by the following votes;
Members Barker, Habecker and Newsom. Those voting "No"; Members
Garrett and Sager.
There being no further business. Chairman Habecker adjourned the
meeting at 9;36 A.M.
