A NON-CONFORMING BUILDI^
Mr. Bill Van Horn, representing the owner, stated the request
fo:^ a. variance was to allow the proposed addition to match the
existing side setback which is approximately 20'. The new zoning
ordinance requires a 251 sideline setback. He stated it would
not be practical to alter shape of the building in order to
comply with new zoning regulations. Most of the property in the
surrounding area is also non-conforming. Discussion followed
regarding shape of lot and design of new addition.
Member Brown moved the variance request be approved due to the
irregular shaped^ lot and because the building is relatively new
with long term life expectancy. Member Sager seconded the motion
and It passed unanimously.
