FOREVER RESORTS - ENLARGE NON-CONFORMING BUILDING - 101 SOUTH
SAINT VRAIN AVENUH ^
S. Michael Finney, General Manager/Holiday Inn Resort, appeared
requesting a variance to structurally enlarge a non-conforming
building (17.68.070). The Building is non-conforming due to the
setback being less than 25' from the property line on Highway 7.
The building was conforming when constructed; with the recently
adopted zoning regulations, a greater amount of setback from an
arterial street is required. The building is non-conforming;
however, the proposed addition is conforming. Planner Stamey
advised no correspondence or communication had been received.
The proposed addition will be located behind the pool area of the
Holiday Inn Resort complex. Following discussion. Member Brown
moved the variance request submitted by Forever Resorts be
approved. Member Laing seconded the motion and it passed by the
following votes; Those voting "Yes" Members Brown, Laing, Lamson
and Wood. Those voting "No" none.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
