ThrsO Vot.ng „no„ none_ Brown, Laing, Lamson, 9 BRADFORD PUBLISHING CO.t DENVER RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Board of Adjustment - May 10, 1985 - Page two SAMUEL PARKER - STRUCTURAL ALTERATION FOR NON-CONFORMING BUILDING - 101 WEST ELKHORN AVENUE, SUITE F; Samuel Parker, petitioner, appeared requesting a variance to structurally alter a non-conforming building located at 101 West Elkhorn Avenue. The existing restrooms do not meet Building Code Standards; Mr. Parker wishes to remodel the interior of Suite F to make it usable for its intended use as a restaurant and construct additional restrooms. The building is non-conforming due to the building setback of less than eight feet from the property lines on Cleave Street and Big Horn Avenue. The new restroom addition will meet setback requirements. Correspondence and/or communication was received from the following: Building Inspector Jones..................................5/07/85 Town Planner Stamey.............................................5/07/85 Frank Hix.......................................... 5/02/85 Charlotte Miller Existing building code standards require that the new restrooms be accessible to the handicapped. Town Engineer Widmer informed the petitioner that relief could also be sought from the Board of Appeals due to the expense involved. Discussion followed with Member Sager moving Mr. Parker's variance request be approved including a recommendation that efforts be made to have the exterior of the new structure match the existing building. Member Brown seconded the motion and it passed by the following votes: Those voting "Yes" Members Brown, Laing, Lamson, Sager and Wood. Those voting "No" none.
