JOE B. KIDWELL - ADDITION TO NON-CONFORMING BUILDING - 520
PINEWOOD LANE;
Mr. Joe B. Kidwell, petitioner, appeared requesting a variance to
allow an addition to a non-conforming building at 520 Pinewood
Lane. In the process of annexing the Kidwell property February
22, 1977, 25.02' was dedicated to the Town to provide a 30-foot
wide street to property to the West. The house and garage which
was constructed and finished prior to the annexation then became
a non-conforming structure which resulted in a 21-foot setback
along Pinewood Lane. Member Sager stated he would not be a
voting member due to a conflict of interest. Building Inspector
Jones advised that Mr. and Mrs. H. Bernard Dannels had verbally
stated they had no objection to the addition. A letter dated
August 4, 1984 from Esther Johnson was received which stated she
also had no objection to the addition. Member Brown moved the
variance request be granted. Member Laing seconded the motion
and it passed unanimously.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
Vickie O'Connor, Town Clerk
