HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES Estes Park Board of Adjustment 1974-09-25RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Board of Adjustment September 25, 1974 Committee: Attending: Chairman Sutter; Members Herzog, Palmer, Prosser and Wagner Chairman Sutter; Members Herzog, Prosser and Wagner Also Attending: TownAdministrator Hill, Town Engineer/Planner Van Horn and Zoning Administrator Baranway DEXHEIMER: Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Dexheimer, owners of Lot 19, Elkhorn Club Estates, appeared before the Board of Adjustment and petitioned for a variance as follows: This property is located in an R-1 Residence District requiring a 15 foot setback from the front property line. Mr. and Mrs. Dexheimer's petition requests a variance allowing a 3 foot 3 inch extension into the setback. Mr. John Baranway, Zoning Administrator, recommends the variance be granted. Board Member Wagner moved the variance be granted. Member Herzog seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed unanimously. Chairman Sutter declared the variance granted. BOWLING: Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Bowling, owners of Lot 14, Village Acres, petitioned the Board of Adjustment for the following variance: Mr. and Mrs. Bowling wish to construct a garage that will, if approved extend into the side yard setback. A map of the proposed intrusion into the setback is attached to and made a part of these proceedings. A communication from Mr. Mike Dickenson, owner of the adjoining lot indicated he has no objection to the granting of the variance. Mr. John Baranway, Zoning Administrator, recommends the variance be granted. Board Member Prosser moved the variance, as requested, be granted. Member Wagner seconded the motion.
