Box 1200 Telephone (Area 303) 586-4461 September 11, 1970 Mr. Henry D. Dannels Chairman Board of Adjustment Dear Mr. Dannels, This is to inform you that I have had to deny the issuance of a permit for the Holiday Inn because the four story structure is in violation of Section 12.5 of the Municipal Code of the Town of Estes Park. Sincerely, TOWN OF ESTES PARK George L. Mowery Building Inspector GIMreks Pafk JfhhJ, Jfhc. Box 1048 Estes Park, Colorado 80517 September 10, 1970 Mr. Henry D. Dannels, Chairman Board of Adjustment Town of Estes Park Estes Park, Colorado Dear Sir: We are requesting a hearing before the Board of Adjustment for a variance to allow the construction of a Holiday Inn, part of which is a 4-story rental unit. This project was started in August of 1968 for which a permit was issued on part of the construction. The issueance of this permit implied that the town accepted the plans as submitted. To change the plans now would cause undue hardship to the corporation. We respectfully request that this variance be granted to allow us to construct the 4-story rental unit. Very truly yours, ESTES PARK INNS, INC. Building Committee
