Mrs. Erika^^Downing appeared before the Board of Adjustment and requested
a variance from Section 12.10-1(b) in regard to "doing business within a
structure". Mrs. Downing would like to erect a solid wooden fence
slightly less than six (6) feet in height on the rear of her property
adjacent to the restaurant located on Lots 3 and 4, Block 4, Town of
Estes Park and serve restaurant style within this fence. Member Palmer
moved this variance be granted. Member Brownfield seconded the motion.
Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
Reverend Fred F. King, owner of Lot 35, Block 9, Country Club Manor Addi
tion, appeared before the Board of Adjustment to request permission to
erect a porch and steps at this residence. This addition will not in
crease the non-conforming setback. This request is needed because the
outside of the residence does not have the required setback from the
property line. Member Brownfield moved that the request be granted.
Member Sutter seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unani
mously carried.
Lynn Kinnie, owner of part of Lot 2, Lee and Alps Addition to the Town
of Estes Park, submitted a request to the Board of Adjustment as required
in Section 12.9-1(3) for the purpose of installing a "Moon Walk". Member
Brownfield moved that the application be granted. Member Sutter seconded
the motion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.

Dear Mr. Dannels,IZ .10-1 a)
I am requesting an appearance before the Board of Adjustment to discuss
the possibility of seating and serving customers at the rear of my
building.
The Building Inspector informed me that a business must be carried on
within a building but I cannot afford to build a building this year.
I intend to enclose the rest of my property in the future when I can
afford to do so.
Until such time, I am asking for a variance to seat and serve the public
on my land at the rear of my building.

Mr. Dale Hill
Town Hall
Estes Park, Colorado
Dear Mr. Hill:
1 am writing this letter to request a meeting of the ad
justment board concerning some remodeling to my home, at
1285 Birch.
The building inspector, Mr. George Mowery, advises me that
because of some conflicts between the zoning requirements
as set forth in the plat of Country Club Manor and the require
ments of the zoning laws in Estes Park that a meeting of the
adjustment board is necessary.
I would appreciate an early meeting of the board.
Sincerely yours.

Board of Adjustment

Dear Mr. Dannels,
As per the request of the Building Inspector, I am requesting an appear
ance before the Board of Adjustment to discuss the installation of a
"Moon Walk".
The Moon Walk is installed in conjunction with the slide and does not
change the parking situation appreciably. Parking has been improved
by the demolition and removal of a building that was on the property.
I feel that there is no offensive noise created by the use of the Moon
Walk and no additional lighting has been installed.
Your cooperation and approval in granting the installation of the Moon
Walk would be appreciated.
Sincerely,
Le) >
