Mrs. Donna Bowman appeared before the Board representing Radio Station
KKEP. Member Palmer moved radio station KKEP be granted a variance to
the Municipal Code, Chapter 12.12-2 Signs as follows:
That the radio station KKEP be allowed to erect six signs, two
feet by four feet, saying: "Emergency Messages
KKEP 1470"
at the following town limit locations:
1. MacGregor Avenue
2. U. S. No. 34 east
3. U. S. No. 36 east
4. State No. 7 south
5. Spur 66 West
6. U. S, No. 34 West
These signs are to be erected within the State Hiway right-of-way. This
variance is granted, contingent upon the radio station KKEP obtaining
the permission of the State Hiway Department.
Member Rollen Sutter seconded the motion and upon roll call the motion
carried unanimously,
A request for a variance to the zoning ordinance was received from Mr.
Adam Koch, owner of a portion of lot 5, block 10, Town of Estes Park.
Member N. T. Petrocine moved Mr. Koch be granted a variance to the set
back provisions of the zoning ordinance in that he will be permitted to
build an addition to an existing structure as indicated on the attached
Plat. This variance will allow the addition to be built no closer than
two feet, six inches, to the lot line labeled line A, Mr, Koch will
assume all liability for the accuracy of the attached Plat, which is
attached to and made a part of these minutes.
Member Rollen Sutter moved the Board of Adjustment establish a rule
giving them the authority to require a Plat of all request for variances.
This Plat shall be drawn by a licensed engineer or surveyor.
Member N. T. Petrocine seconded the motion and upon roll call the motion
carried unanimously.
Chairman Dannels announced that Mr. Pat Ash has withdrawn his request
for a re-hearing.
There being no further business, the meeting adjour
approved
