Chairman Barker called the Committee meeting to order at 2:00 P.M.

MUSEUM REPORT
Director Swain presented a report of Museum Visitor Statistics from
1988 through March 1992, noting a visitation increase this Spring.
The Museum is currently open on weekends. Chairman Barker
suggested museum programs be coordinated with Conference Center
events and Director Swain stated staff periodically updates the
museum exhibit case at the conference center to inform visitors of
current museum events. Trustee Hix suggested staff research the
possibility of winter use of the fairgrounds information sign to
advertise museum events. A conference center events sign is
anticipated for installation in 1993. Director Swain indicated
future plans are to landscape and improve signage at the museum.
Indoor museum climate control is anticipated for 1993.
Director Swain reviewed upcoming museum programs and future exhibit
plans, noting the museum will host the 1992 Association of Northern
Front Range Museums and, anticipates ho®ting. Colorado/Wyoming Association of Museums for a 4-day, 120 attendee
conference.
REPORTS
Trustee Garrett reminded those present of the Chamber-sponsored
in 1993.
chairman Barker and Trustee Him co^ended Trastee Garrett for her
four years of dedicated service and diligent effort.
There being no further business, chairman Barker adjourned the
meeting at 2:50 P.M.
