Advertising Manager Marsh reviewed the 1991 Advertising Program Performance relative to Program Goals: increase fulfillment requests by 30% (72,500)/year-to-date is 24% (70,000); maintain average cost/inquiry below $4.00/current CPI $3.28; increase incoming 800 calls by 20%/29% over September, 1990. Director Stamey reported that the Advertising Policy Committee has been actively planning the 1992 Marketing Plan, which includes: the first half-page, 4-color ad in the National Geographic Traveler; revision of the Fulfillment Program to allow for less expensive collateral material to be used by high volume distribution outlets in lieu of the existing "lure piece"; and rev;LS1lon ,of Newspaper Program to include various Northern Colorado Front-range dailies for specific events. A solution to the parking could be to change the Riverside Plaza Parking Lot into fee parking for a four-month period from June through September. The Committee reviewed a proposed budget whereby total expenses for a gate, booth and operator was $47,000; revenue - 120 days x 98 spaces x $5.00/day/space = $58,000. Estimated income in 1992 would be $11,000; and $46,000 in '93 and '94. The Committee commended Trustee Habecker for taking the initiative on the parking issue, and, following discussion, recommends Director Stamey and other appropriate staff meet to review the proposal, as presented, and prepare comments for the Administrative Committee meeting scheduled November 25, 1991. REPORTS. Administrator Klaphake reported that the Town will not proceed with the Intergovernmental Agreement with the Larimer County Housing Authority pending additional discussion.
