Chairman Barker called the meeting of the Community Development
Committee to order at 2:29 P.M.
GREELEY/WELD ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT - PRESENTATION.
Kathy Schulte, Greeley/Weld Economic Development, appeared before

Features, implementation, and an organizational_ chart were also
reviewed. Stressing the Committee is not dissatisfied with
current staff but are seeking a new approach to advertising
efforts, the Committee recommends approval of the new policy as
outlined above, with implementation effective January 1, 1991.
SALES TRENDS - REPORT.
Nelson Thomas addressed the Committee and presented information
concerning sales trends in Estes Park, including ways to enhance
growth, identifying change, comparison of sales tax revenues
(dollars vs. CPI), and sales trends during each month of the
year. The Committee commended Mr. Thomas ^ on the thorough
presentation, and suggested that perhaps traffic counts and oo
sales figures be included in future statistics.
SISTER CITY - DISCUSSION.
Community Development Director Stamey advised that ^he Town of
