REPORTS.
Director Stamey advised that in the recent Town Newsletter, the
Town solicited suggestions for the renaming of "Peacock", "Poi
son" and "West Riverside" Parks. Staff has received one sug
gestion thus far, and the Committee recommends publicity efforts
be increased; it is anticipated all three parks will be renamed
in the near future.
Larimer and Weld Counties applied for, and received, a Revolving
Loan Fund from the State. A loan pool, currently containing
$150,000 is available. This is expected to increase in the
future. Short-term gap financing (3-7 years),^ at a minimum
interest rate of 3% will be available. The Co^ittee suggested
Cathy Schulte/Greeley Economic Development Office, attend tne
April 12th meeting to provide information on this supplemental
financing program.
Trustee Garrett reported on the Assembly of the Arts meeting;
Estes Park Women's History Month, and the Creative Ensemble
Productions group.
