Business Retention Program;
The objective of this goal could be to identify existing
businesses which provide an important year-round employment
base. Discussion included the development of a small
business visitation program, methods to retain businesses in
the community, development of a local product export pro
gram, and identification of potential management seminars,
training programs, and resource agencies.
Employee Housing Program;
Housing is an issue that has been discussed for many years.
This objective could identify strategy to develop housing,
i.e.; the roles of public/private sectors; and the pos
sibility of federal grants that may be available or appro
priate.
Quality Economic Development;
The Committee could target specific p0arrkli9An
industrial activities that are suitable for Estes Park. A
inventory of available site and buildings c°u];d t.i11.sP0
performed. The need for a concise community information
brochure appears to be appropriate.
