HomeMy WebLinkAboutPROCLAMATION National Home Care and Hospice Month 2002-11QEtt park,€otorabo o tiamation WHEREAS,Hospice of the Esfes Valley and Estes Park Home Care,both departments of the Estes Park Medical Center,will be celebrating and raising awareness of the month of November being designated as National Hospice and Home Care Month. Their mission is providing comprehensive in-home health and supportive services for the Estes Valley and surrounding areas for disabled,chronically ill,and dying patients and their families.Its care giving teams offer services ranging from basic assistance with daily living to advanced medical treatments in the home;and WHEREAS,National Home Care and Hospice Month celebrates the immeasurable contributions ot home care and hospice professionals and the courage and perseverance of the patients and families they serve. Home Care and Hospice Services help keep families together.Home Care and Hospice professionals and volunteers provide the high quality health care and the close,personal contact through the integration of the physical,emotional and spiritual well being of patients and their families; and. WHEREAS,Hospice of the Estes Valley and Estes Park Home Care will celebrate the month of November being designated as “National Hospice and Home Health Care Month”by raising awareness through public service announcements,newspaper articles,open houses and celebrations with the community,health care professionals,support staff,volunteers and families and patients they serve. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park proclaim the month of November as NATIONAL HOME CARE AND HOSPICE MONTH in the town of Estes Park and all citizens of the community are encouraged to support thIs event through participation.
