WHEREAS,floreine M.Harris is being celebrated and
honored by family and friends on Saturday,April 7,2018 on the
occasion of her iooth birthday;and
WHEREAS,Flo has a profound love of and appreciation for our
spectacular Town of Estes Park and the surrounding majestic Rocky
Mountains where she has resided for the last 32 years and vacationed
for the 50 years preceding,including summiting Longs Peak in 1936;
‘WHEREAS,she has lived a long and productive life,showing in
various ways her dedication and caring for the welfare of others and her
community,thereby earning the respect,love,and affection of her fellow
citizens;and
WHEREAS,having lived during the most eventful and turbulent centtiry in
the world’s history,she has worked diligently for the betterment of the
community and has been a stabilizing and positive influence for those around
her.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the Trustees
of the Town of Estes Park do hereby recognize
Floreine M.Harris
And do hereby find it an honor and distinct pleasure to present this proclamation
on this,her 100t1 birthday,with congratulations and best wishes for years to come.
