HomeMy WebLinkAboutPROCLAMATION Flaherty, Eileen 2018-11-181tar Qftt J3ark,€otorabo to clamatlo ii WHEREAS,Estes Park Salud Family Health Center opened its doors in June 1992;and WIHEREAS,the support of its parent organization,$alud Family Health Centers in Ft.Lupton,and generous donations from the Town of Estes Park,local organizations,and private citizens have enabled the Estes Park Salud Family Health Center to provide comprehensive health care for thousands of families in the Estes Valley;and ‘WTHEREAS,Eileen Flaherty received her family Nurse Practitioner certification from California State University at Long Beach in 1981;and tiVIIEREAS,Eileen Flaherty as Center Director has provided visionary leadership to the Estes Park Salud Family Health Center for the initial twenty- six years of its service;and VHEREAS,through her dedication and resolve the Estes Park Salud Family Health Center has grown from a facility with one exam room staffed eight hours a week to an 11,000 square foot building with providers delivering medical,dental and behavioral health services;and ‘WHEREAS,Eileen Flaherty has,by example and encouragement,created an ethos at the Estes Park Salud Family Health Center that extends high quality, compassionate care to thousands of medically underserved individuals and families in the Estes community;and ‘WHEREAS,on December 31,2018,Eileen Flaherty will retire from the position of Center Director of the Estes Park Salud family Health Center; NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park do hereby proclaim November 18,2018 as Eileen Flaherty Day and urge all citizens to celebrate the valuable contribution she has made to the community In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand caused this seal to be affixed.
