HomeMy WebLinkAboutPROCLAMATION Estes Park United CampaignQtc ark,(oLotabo to riamatto It WHEREAS,United Way of Larimer County has strived to ensure that our community’s important health and human service needs are met in an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust across Larimer County;and WHEREAS,United Way of Larimer County is launching “Estes Park United”a fundraising campaign led by volunteers through United Way of Larimer County,to help all children and youth in the Estes Valley succeed in school and life;and WHEREAS,through partnerships and community conversations with the Estes Park community,Estes Park United has identified the focus of the campaign to be that of Estes Park child and youth education;and WHEREAS,the goal of the campaign is to raise $15,000 towards helping meet this need by directing community donations to the Estes Valley Investment in Childhood Success,Estes Park Learning Place, the Estes Park Kids Café,and Partners Mentoring Youth to address this community need. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park do hereby proclaim the weeks of July 1 —September 30,2016,as the ESTES PARK UNITED CAMPAIGN in the Estes Valley,and urge all citizens to become actively involved in supporting the campaign by making a financial contribution.
