‘WHEREAS,the Town of Estes Park,Colorado through
Eagle Rock School &Professional Development Center has
been the beneficiary of Burt Bowles,Susie D’Amico,Cindy
Elkins,L’Tanya Perkins &Terry Tierny’s talents,creativity,
energy and selfless dedication to the staff,students,visitors
and 640 acres that is Eagle Rock;and
WHEREAS,these five individuals have served the Eagle Rock
community for a cumulative 103 years,and
‘t’VHEREAS,these five individuals have dutifully helped Eagle Rock
fulfill its vision,that this country’s high school youth are fully engaged
in their education,and
WHEREAS,these five individuals have supported Eagle Rock in
implementing effective and engaging practices that foster each student’s
unique potential and help young people use their minds well at Eagle Rock
School and support schools nationally to do the same,and
‘WHEREAS,Eagle Rock School &Professional Development Center has
recognized Burt Bowles,Susie D’Amico,Cindy Elkins,L’Tanya Perkins &Terry
Tierney on July 24,2020 on Zoom with the Eagle Rock community for their 103
years of service.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Board of
Trustees of the Town of Estes Park do hereby recognize
Burt Bowles,Susie D’Amico,Cindy Elldns,
L’Tanya Perkins &Terry Tierney
And do hereby find it an honor and distinct pleasure to present this proclamation in
recognition of their many contributions and the joy they have brought to Eagle Rock
School &Professional Development Center and the Town of Estes Park,and wish them a
