Planning Commission Meeting
January 18,1972

Member Charles F.Hix moved that,in the absence of Chairman Glenn Prosser
and Vice Chairman Harry Miles,Member Ronald C.Brodie be elected Tem
porary Chairman for this meeting.Member Gerald H.Brownfield seconded
the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
The minutes of the meeting held on December 21,1971,were read and
approved as read.
ONE THOUSAND PINES ADDITION TO THE TOWN OF ESThS PARK:
Temporary Chairman Brodie proceeded to conduct a public hearing regard
ing the zoning of One Thousand Pines Addition to the Town of Estes Park.
There was no one present in opposition to the zoning and no correspondence
had been received in favor of or in opposition to the zoning.
Mr.Dar Staley,of Village Acres,appeared and spoke in favor of the
zoning.
Town Planner Bill Van Horn explained the zoning restrictions as they
apply to the R—Residence District.
Temporary Chairman Brodie declared the hearing closed.
Member Gerald H.Brownfield moved that the Estes Park Planning Commission
recommend to the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park that the
One Thousand Pines Addition be zoned R-Residential District.Member
Robert E.Wagner seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unani
mously carried.
HOME OCCUPATIONS:
The discussion on home occupations was continued from the previous meet
ing and after a considerable period the Commission decided to discuss
this matter further at future meetings.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
