Planning Commission Meeting
October 17,1972

The minutes of the meeting held on September 26,1972,were read and
approved as read.
LOT 43.RIVERSIDE SUBDIVISION REZONING:
A petition to rezone Lot 43,Riverside Subdivision,was presented to
the Commission.Member Wagner moved a Public Hearing be set for November
21,1972,at 3:00 P.M.Member Steele seconded the motion.Upon roll
call the motion unanimously carried.
MASTER PLAN:
Mr.Dwight Whitney,Larimer County Planning Director,Mr.Hunter Swanson,
Colorado School of Mines and Town Planner Van Horn reviewed the Estes
Park Master Plan with the Commission.
Mr.Whitney explained that H.UOD.advises they will accept conditional
approval of the Estes Park Master Plan subject to the required public
hearings and subsequent legal adoption.
Mr.Whitney also advised the Commission to give separate consideration
to the individual sections of the plan.
Member Wagner moved the Estes Park Planning Commission give conditional
approval to paragraph B “Goals and Objectives”,subject to revisions
as required as a result of subsequent public hearings.Member Steele
seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion carried.
Member Wagner moved the Estes Park Planning Commission give conditional
approval to paragraph C “Future land Use Plan”subject to revisions as
required as a result of subsequent public hearings and as per amended
map with accompanying changes in the written plan.Member Tregent
seconded the motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
Member Wagner moved the Estes Park Planning Commission not include
paragraph D “Public Facility Plan”at this time.This portion of the
plan shall be studied further prior to adoption.
Mr.Whitney advised the Committee the Capitol Improvement plan should
be completed by October 26,1972.
Chairman Prosser appointed Town Administrator Hill and Town Planner
Van Horn to work with him as a committee to complete the capitol im
provement plan.
The Planning Commission ordered a public hearing on the Master Plan for
November 21,1972.

LOT 5,PILTZ SUBDIVISION:
The Mary Adams estate submitted a petition to rezone Lot 5,Piltz Sub
division from R-2 to C-i.Member Wagner moved the public hearing on
this rezoning be held on November 21,1972.Member Steele seconded the
motion.Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
