HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE 39-1927ORDINANCE NO.39. AN ORDINANCE MAKING IiPPRCPRIATICNS FOP.THE EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,FOP THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING APRIL FIRST,AD. 1927. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD CF TFUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLOfDO. Section 1..That for the purpose of defraying the expenses and liabilities of the Town of E5tes Park,Colorado,for the fiscal year beginning April 1st,1927,the following named sums are hereby appro priated out of the revenues of said town,for the purpose hereinafter designated,to-’;it: STREET AND ALLEY FUND:Three Thousand Dollars (3,OOO.OO) for maintenance,repair and improvements of the streets,alleys,avenues and ditches of the Town and f the payment of the salary of the street supervisor and other employees of the street department. SEWER FUND:Three Thousand Dollars (*3,000.00) or such an amount as shall be found necessary for the maintenance and improvement of the sewer system and for the payment of interest and principal on outstanding sewer bonds. PUBLIC BUII.DIN FUND:Five Hundred Dollars (*500.00) or such an amount thereof as shall be found necessary for the maintenance and improvement of public buildings. CONTINGENT FUND:Thirty-three Hundred Dollars (*3,300.00) for the purpose of paying any expense or liability of the Town of Estes Park,not hein otherwise provided for,provided that if the entire amount of this contingent fund shall not be required for such purpose, the remainder tbereof shall he placed to the credit of any other fund or funds as may be deemed necessary in the discretion of the Board of Trustees of the Town. FIRE DEPARTMENT FUND:Three Hundred Dollars (*300.00) for the purpose of purchasing fire equipment and maintenance of equipment of this department. Section 2.This ordinance is hereby termed to be annual appropriation bill for the next fiscal year,commencing on the first day of April,1927, and this ordinance is necessary for the inediate preservation of the public peace,health and safety ar.in the opinion of the Board of Trustees an emergency exists;
