BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF RUSTELS OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO; Section 1.Therea.s,in the opinion of the Board of Trustees of said Town,it is necessary to make a certain public I improvement,to-wit: The construction of sewers for said.Town by the re-con etniction and enlargement of the present sewer system now owned, managed and operated by the Town,and by the installation of a. sanitary purification terminal thereon;now therefore said board hereby declares the necessity for such improvement. 2.Section 2.That at the general election of municipal officers,to be held in the Town of Estee Park,on Tuesday,the second day of April,A.D.1918,the question of authorizing the Board of Trustees of said Town to construct sewers for the Town of Estes Park,to be owned,managed and operated.by the Town, by the re-construction and enlargement of the present sewer system now oed,managed and.operated by the Town,and by the 5 installation of a sanitary purification terminal thereon:,be and the same is hereby submitted to such voters of said Cown as are tax payers under the law,for their determination. Section 3.The question so submitted.shall be voted. on at said election by the voters qualified as aforesiid.,at the following place in said Town: ,zç) ,,., - I -P .-71 t%j “— I ORDINANCE NO7. *11 i* __ The voting shall be by ballot of the form hereinafter provided,and said election shall be in all respects,as nearly as may be,held and conducted in the manner prescribed by law in cases of elections for municipal officers. section 4.The ballots to be used in voting upon the question above submitted shall be prepared and furnished by the Town Clerk to the judges of election,to be by them furnished to the voters,and shall be in the following printed forE,and shall he deposited in a separate ballot box provided by the Town Clerk for such purpose: - CONSTRUCTION OP SE7ERS. 02210 IAL BALLOT 2CR THE ELECTION TO BE HELD UT THE TO:JT OP ESTES PARK,ONTUESDAY,niB w0OND d OP APRIL,n.jJ.lOl8. rFSfl iii’1’ .. Section 5.No ballots for cr agait said question shall he received by the judges,unless the person offering the same shall be a voter of the Town of Eates Park,and a taxpayer under the mw. Section ‘7dJ The vote at said election on the question aforesaid shall be canvassed and returned,and the returh made and the result declared in the sair manner,as nearly as may be, as provided 5y law for the canvass,return and declaring of the result of vntes cast at an election of r1unical officers. Section 8.notice of the time and place of said election shall be published by posting copies thereof in the three public places within the limits of the said Town of Estes park,as designated by the resolution adopted by the Board of Trustees of said Town,on June 11,1917,at least fifteen (15) days before such election,and also a copy of such notice shall be posted at the voting place aforesaid,fifteen (15)days before ——— -IL_-’ ---o— ---- Section 6.The following named persons are hereby appointed as judges of said election;being the judges of said general electiçn: I such election,announcing the tiiiie,place and object of the election,and said notice shall also be published jil the ,a newspaper of general air culion,printed in the of d ,in the Coi.nt of iari:cr,and.State of Colorado,at least fifteen tlö)days before such election, and the Clerk of the Town of Estes Park is hereby charged with the duty of effectuating this provision. Section 9.This ordinance,after its passage,shall be recorded in the book kept for that purooce,be authenticated by the signatures of the ayr and Town Ulerh,and shall be published by posting copies thereof in the three public places within the said.limits of the said Town of EsteE Park,as des ignated by the resolution adopted by the Board of Trustees of said.Town,on June 11,191’?,and shall take effect and be en forced upon the expiration of five (F)days after it has been so posted. section 10.This ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace,health and safety. Section 11.The reasons why this ordinance is thus necessary are that said ordinance is intended to provide means of safeguarding the health of the inhabitants of said town and of others,and is to procure authorization of a public improvement necessary as a sanitary measure.
