AMENDMENT To ORDINANCE NO.15,BEING AN ORDINANCE
ENTITlED,“AN ORDINANCE IN R;,ljATIUN O BUILDING CONSTRUC.IUN
AND BUIiDING iITS,Ii’TilE iIRE LIMflS OF ThE TOWN OF ES$PARK,”&S$ED AND ADOPThD MAY 26,1919.
BE IT ORDAINED BY ThE BOARD OF TRUSWEES OF TaB TOWN OF ESS

First:That section 5 of said ordinance be and the same
is hereby amended to read as follows:
“Section 5.Outide walls one story,nob exceeding fourteen
feet in height,conatru\ted of brick,i.ôUow bile or concrete shall
be at least ten inohes i\thiokneas3 ‘or if of s;e sixteen nohes
in thickness;outside aall not eOeedng twerty—fonr feet in
heIght constructed of brick çho11ow ti.ce shall be at least
twelve inches in thickness,oi\if of concrete,first story at
least twelve inches and se9nd story ten inches tiaiak,if of stone
first story at least tweyty inches and second story sixteen inches
thick;outside walls hher than twenty—four feet snail be builta
only after working drwinand specif1ations have been suinitted
to and approved bY/he Town Board and s11 be of sufficient Lickneas
and strength to Øtisfy said Town Board.‘When outside wails are to
be used as walls,or to support two buildings,four inches in/thickness sh,Ll be added to the tbiokness of the a bove dimensions.”
Second:That section 7 of said ordinance shall be amended
to read as follows:
“Section 7.A11outaide and’parby walls,except end walls
fronting on streets and a\1eys sh1l extend above tbe sbsating of
the roof at least 18 incne or eight courses of brick,and in no
case shall the planking or seating of the roof extend across any
.f \r party wall,or outside walls,cept end walls fronting on tire street/and alley,?rovided,bowever,th buildIngs built in Town Parks
