Section 1.Be it Ordained by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado that a petition for annexation,together with four copies of a plat of the territory to be annexed as required by law was filed with the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park on the 12th day of October,1959, which petition was filed by persons who represent themselves to be the owners of more than 50%of the area of the territory hereinafter described and which persons also comprise a majority of the land owners residing in the territory at the time the petition was filed with the Board ot Trustees; That the Board of Trustees at its regular meeting on the 12th day of October,1959 accepted said petition and caused to be published a notice as required by lawI That more than 30 days have elapsed aftØr first publication of said notice and no counter petition has been filed. Section 2.That the annexation to the Town of Estes Park,Colorado of the following described territory to be known and designated as “Hyde Park Addition to the Town of Estes Park,Colorado11 is hereby annexed to the Town of Estee Park,Colorado and which territory is described as foilows;to wit: Begihning at the northwest corner of Lot 4 (southwest quarter of southwest quarter)of Section 30,Township 5 North,Range 72 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian;thence S.0°30’W.a distance of 304.8 feet;thence S.54°36 E.a distance of 814.3 feet;thence S.00 25k’W.84 feet;themce N.89°30’E. a distance of 628.4 feet to the east line of said lot 4, Section 30;thence N.00 35 E.a distance of 870 feet to the northeast corner of said lot 4 Section 30;themce S.89°30’ W.a distance of 1298 feet to the point of beginning. Section 3,That the Board of Trustees hereAth finds,determines,and designates that this Ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace,health,and safety and whereas in the opinion of the Board of Trustees an emergency exi.sts and that this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately after its passage and adoption.
