AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
TERRITORY TO THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO TO
BE KNOWN AND DESIATED AS NEYER ADDIUON TO THE
TcN OF ESTES PARK,AD”
Section 1.Be it ordained by the Board of Trustees of the Town of
Estee Park,Colorado:That a petition for annexation together with four
copies of a plat of the territory to be annexed as required by law was
filed with the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estee Park on the 11th
day of May,1959,which petition was signed by persons who represent
themselves to be the owners of more than 50%of the area of the territory
hereinafter described and which persons also comprise a majority of the
landowners residing in the territory at the time the petition was filed
with the Board of Trustees.
That the Board of Trustees at its regular meeting on the 11th day
of May,1959,accepted said petition and caused to be published a notice
as required by law.
That more than thirty days have elapsed after first publication of
said notice and no counter petition has been filed.
Section 2.That the annexation to the Town of Estes Park,Colorado
of the following described territory to be known and designated as 9eyer
Addition to the Town of Estee Park,Colorado”,is hereby annexed to the
Town of Estee Park,Colorado and which territory is described as follows
to wit:
A tract of land in Section 24 Township 5 North,Range 73
West of the Sixth principal Meridian described as follows:
Beginning at a point in Section 24 from which point the
East Quarter corner bears N.660 27’B.a distance of
1607.5 feet;Thence North a distance of 494.5 feet;
Thence N.8°46’W.a distance of 3l.6 feet;Thence
N.63°O’W.a distance of 61.6 feet;Thence N.40 01’
W.a distance of 26.4 feet;Thence 5.9°01?W.a
distance of 254.5 feet;Thence 5.72°31’W.a distance
of 145.1 feet;Thence S.76°3’W.a distance of 26.54
feet;Thence S.510 56’W.a distance of 5.66 feet;
Thence 3.7°34’E.a distance of 49.6 feet;Thence S.
5°06’West a distance of 339.2 feet;Thence s•O 16’
W.a distance of 494 feet;Thence 5.S°46’B.a distance
of 114.9 feet to the point of beginning.
Section 3.That the Board of Trustees herewith finds,determines
and designates that this Ordinance is necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace,health and safety and whereas in the
opinion of the Board of Trustees an emergency exLsts and that this
Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately after its
passage and adoption.
