AN OflDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY TQ THE TOWN
OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO,TO BE KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS “ERICKSON’S LOT 6,
PINEWOOD ACRES ADDITION”TO THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO.
BE IT ORDAINED B THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,
COLORADO:
Section 1.That a petition for annexation,together with four copies
of a plat of the territory to be annexed,as required by law,was filed
with the Board ofTrusteee of The Town of Estee Park,on the 25th day
of November,1957,which petition was signed by two persons,who are the
owners of more than fifty per—cent of the area of the territory hereinafter
described,and which persons also comprise a majority of the land owners
residing in that territory at the time the petition was filed with the
Board of Trustees;that the Bàard of Trustees at its regular meeting on
the 25th day of November,1957,accepted said petition and caused to be
published a notice as required by law;that more than thirty days have
elapsed after the first publication of said notice,and no counter—
petition has been filed.
Section 2.That the annexation to the Town of Estee Park,Colorado,
of the following described territory,to be known and designated as
“Erickson’s Lot 6,Pinewood Adrea Addition”to the Town of Estee Park,
is hereby approved and the same is hereby annexed to the Town of Estee
Park,Colorado,and which territory is described as follows:to—wit:
A tract of land in Lot 3 of Section 1,Township 4 North,Range 73
West of the Sixth Principal Meridain,known as Lot 6 of Pinewood acres
described as follows)to—wit:Beginning at a point on the North line
of Lot 3,Section 1,Township 4 North,Range 73 West of the Sixth P.M.
from which point the Southeast corner of Section 36,Township 5 North,
Range 73 West of the Sixth P.M.bears 3.88°52’E.a distance of 440
feet;Thence South a distance of 623.7 feet;Thence N.68°05’we
a distance of 173.6 feet;Thence N.830 27’W.a distance of 127.2
feet;Thence North a &istance of 550.4 feet to the North line of Lot
3,Section 1;Thence 3.88°52’E.a distance of 286.4 feet to the
point of beginning.
Section 3.That the Board of Trustees herewith finds,determines
and designates that this Ordinanôe is necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace,he1th and safety,and whereas in
the opinion of the Board of Trustees,an emergency exists,and that
this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately after its
passage and adoption.
Passed and adopted this 13th day of January,1958.
