An Ordinance Vacating a Portion of Grand Estates
Drive and Pine Road in Grand Estates,a Sub
division in Parts of Section 19 and 30,Township
5 North,Range 72 West of the 6th P.M.
WHEREAS it aopering to the Town Board of the Town of
Estes Park,Colorado that the owners of all the land adjoining the
roads hereinafter described have filed a petition with this Board
requesting it to vacate said roads,and that the vacation of said
roads will leave no land adjoining said portion of said roads with
out connection to an adjoining established public road;
AND WHEREAS it appears that said road is within Grand
Estates Addition ot the Town of Estes Park,Colorado by virtue of
Town Ordinance No.145,1954,and therefore under the jurisdiction
of said Town and this Board:
AND WHEREAS the vacation of said roads will not be injurious
nor inconvenient to the public nor to any landowners,and it appear
ing that said roads have never been used nor opened;
NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Board of Trustees of
the Town of Estes Park,Colorado:
That the portion of Grand states Drive in Grand
Estates abutting on Estates CLots)No.l,22,23,
29,30 and 31 as shown on the Plat filed October 20,
1952,in File No.161,Plat Book No.6,Page 54,
Larimer County Records,and more particularly des
cribed as follows,to—wit:An area 30 feet wide,
15 feet on each side of a center line described as
follows,to—wit:Beginning at a point on the center
line of Grand Estates Drive,which said point is
15 feet S 25 46?E of the intersection of the
center lines of said Grand Estates Drive and Lake S4
Front Drive,and running thence S 25°46’feet;
thence S 300 20’W l6 feet;thence 5 450 W
151.3 feet to a point 15 feet N 45°5’E of the
intersection of said running center line with the
center line of Majestic View Drive,and
That that portion of Pine Road in Grand Estates
described as foUows:An area 30 feet wide,15 feet
on each side of a center line beginning at a point
5.3 feet N 01°l’E of the Southwest corner of
the Southeast Quarter (SEt)of Section 19,Town
ship Five North,Range Seventy—two West of the
6th Principal eridian,Larimer County,Colorado,
said point is also the Southwest corner of Estate
No.2,as shown on Flat of Grand Dstates,a sub
division in parts of Sections 19 and 30,Town
ship Five North,Range Seventy—two West of the
6th Principal Meridian,Larimer County,Colorado,
filed October 20th,1952,File No.161,Larimer
County Records,and running thence N 0°01’E
20 feet,thence N 500 09’E 402.9 feet to its
intersection with the center line of Grand
Estates Drive,less any portion in said Grand
Estates Drive,according to said Flat filed
October 20th,1952,in File No.161,and less
any portion in Fine Road as platted in Grand
Estates Addition to the Town of Estes Fark,Colorado.

be and the same are hereby vacated,pursuant to the Ordinances of
the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,and under the statutes of the
State of Colorado in such case made and provided and particularly
under the provisions of Chapter 217 of the Session Laws of 1949
of the State of Colorado.
This vacation is subject to the reservation of rights
of way or easements,if any,for the continued use of existing
sewer,gas,water or similar pipe lines and appurtenances and for
ditches or canals and appurtenances,and for electric,telephone
and similar lines and appurtenances.
AND }1EREAS,the Board of Trustees herewith finds,
determines and designates that this ordinance is necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace,health and safety,
AND WFREAS,in the opinion of the Board of Trustees an
emergency exists,this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
immediately after its passage and adootion.
