AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE TOWN OF ESThS PARK, COLORADO,TO BE KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS t1GRAND ESTATES ADDITION TO THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO.t’ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO. Section 1.That a petition for annexation,together with four copies of a plat of said territory,as required by law,was filed with the Board of Trustees on March 22,1954, by nine landowners,who are the owners of more than fifty per cent of the area of the territory hereinafter described and who also comprise a majority of the landowners residing in said territory at the time of filing of the petition for annexation; that the Board of Trustees,at its regular meeting on March 22, 1954,accepted said petition and thereafter caused to be published a notice as required by law;that more than thirty days has elapsed after the first publication of said notice,and no counter-petition has been filed. Section 2.That the annexation to the Town of Estes Park of the following described territory,to be known and designated as 11Grand Estates Addition to the Town of Estes Park, Colorado”,is hereby approved and the same is hereby annexed to the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,and which territory is described as follows,to_lilt: Grand Estates,a subdivision situate in the East one—half (E)of Section Nineteen (19)and the Northeast quarter (NE*)of Section Thirty (30), together with the West 783.2 feet of Section Twenty (20)lying South of U.S.Highway No.34,all in Township Five (5)North,Range Seventy—two (72) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian,Larimer County,Colorado,and containing one hundred (100) acres,more or less. ----- Section 3.That the Board of Trustees herewith finds, determines and designates that this ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace,health and safety, and whereas,in the opinion of the Board of Trustees,an emergency exists,this ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately after its passage and adoption.
