HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE 153-550hbI1C TO.- An Jdinance Vacating A Portion of Alpine Road in Grand Estates Addition to the Town of Estes Park,Colorado wHEnAS it appearing to the Town Board of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado that the owners of all the lands adjoining the road hereinafter described have filed a petition wita tuis Board request ing it to vacate said road ,and that the vacation of Siid road will leave no other land aujoining said portion of said road with out connection to an adjoining established public road; AND AIaL8 it apears that said road is within Grand Estates Addition to the Town of Estes Park,Colorado by vi;tue of Town Ordinance No.145,1954,and therefore under the jurisdiction of said Town and this Board; AND AER the vacation of said oad will not be injurious nor inconvenient to te public nor to any lanuowners,and it appearing that said road has never been used nor opened; N0 TEFurE be it ordaiLed by tne Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado: Tnat that portion of Alpine Road (forier1y Pine Road)abutting on Estates (Lots)9,10,11,1,16,17,as shown on plat filed June 8th,19o4,File No.70,Book 6,rage 80,Larinier County Records, and nore particularly described as follows,to—wit: an area 30 feet wide,15 feet on each side of a center line beginning at tue intersection of tue center hues of A1pin Road and Grand Estates Drive nd running thence N 88°%3?E 392.7 feet,thence S 78°04’E,653.l feet,thence $3°26’E 98.1 feet to its intersection with the center line of Lake Front Drive,less any portion in Lake Front Drive and Grand Estates Drive,situate in Grand Estates Addition to the Town of Estes Park,Larimer Co-unty,Colorado,according to Plat filed June &L,1954,in File 70,Book 6,Page 80,Lariner County ecords, lie and the same is hereby vacated pursuant to the Ordinances of the Town of Estes ?ark,Colorado,and under tne statutes of the State of Colorodo in such case iiade and provided and particularly under the provisions of Chapter 217 of the Session Laws of 1949 of the state of Colorado. This vacation is sL4bjeCt to the reservation of rights of vay and eaerients for constructing,operating and maintaining water, sewer,electric,tele2hone,and other utility systems,and tneir apourtenances,now existing or hereafter established.
