ORDINANCE NO.288
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,
COLORADO,TO BE KNO AND DESIGNATED AS
11DEKKER ADDITION TO THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,
COLORADO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY TEE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF TEE TOWN
OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.That a petition for annexation together
with four copies of a plat of said territory as required by
law was filed with the Town Clerk on the 18th day of October,
1965,by the owners of more than fifty per cent (50%)of the
area of the territory hereinafter described who also comprise
a majority of the landowners residing in said territory.
That the Board of Trustees by resolution,at its regular
meeting on October 25,1965,accepted said petition and
caused to be published a notice as required by law.That
more than thirty days have elapsed after first publication
of said notice and no counter-petition has been filed.
Section 2.That the annexation to the Town of Estes
Park of the following described property,to be known and
designated as “Dekker Addition1’to the Town of Estes Park
is hereby approved:
Beginning at the SE corner of Section 36,
Township 5 North,Range 73 West of the 6th
P.M.;thence along the South line of Section
36 N 88°521 W a distance of 1000.0 feet;thence
N 010011 E a distance of 238.82 feet;thence S880521Eadistanceof273.6 feet;thence N
O1°Ol’E a distance of 55L1.32 feet to the
Southerly right-of-way of the U.S.Bureau of
Reclamation road;thence along the road right-
of-way S 61°57’E a distance of 91.50 feet to
the beginning of a curve to the left with a
radius of 507.5 feet and an interior angle of
37°38’;thence along the curve 333.33 feet to
the point of tangency;thence N 80025!E a
distance of 326.5 feet to the East line of
Section 36;thence along said East line S O1°Ol’
W a distance of 766.3 feet to the Point of
Beginning.

Section 3.The Board of Trustees herewith finds,
determines and designates that this ordinance is necessary
for the immediate preservation of the public peace,health
and safety,and whereas in the opinion of the Board of
Trustees an emergency exists,this ordinance shall take effect
and be in force five ()days after its final passage,adoption
and publication.
