AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR THE TOWN OF
ESTES PARK,COLORADO,FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
ON THE 1ST DAY OF JANUARY,1967,AND ENDING ON THE
LAST DAY OF DECEMBER,1967,ESTIMATING THE AMOUNT OF
MONEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAX LEVY EASED ON
THE SAID BUDGET SO ADOPTED;ESTIMATING THE AMOUNT OF
MONEY TO BE DERIVED FROM OTHER REVENUE SOURCES;AND
SETTING FORTH THE TOTAL ESTIMATED EXPENDITURES FOR
EACH FUND.
WHEREAS,the Town Clerk designated to prepare the annual budget
for Estes Park,Colorado,for the fiscal year beginning January 1,1967,
and ending December 31,1967,has prepared said budget and submitted it
to the Board of Trustees,and
WHEREAS,the Board of Trustees held a public hearing on said budget
on September 26,1966,
AND WHEREAS,the assessed valuation of taxable property for the year
1966 in the Town of Estes Park,as returned by the County Assessor of
Larimer County,Colorado,is the sum of $5,593,050.00.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.That the estimated revenue for the various funds of
the Town of Estes Park is:
General Fund
From unappropriated surplus $69,990.50
From property taxes 57,440.57
From other revenue sources 190,542.75
Total General Fund $317,973.82
Light and Power Fund
From Unappropriated surplus $196,832.18
From other revenue sources 427,800.00
Total Light and Power Fund $624,632.18
Section 2.That the estimated expenditures for each fund of the
Town of Estes Park,Colorado,are as follows:
General Fund $317,973.82
Light and Power Fund 440,045.00
Section 3.That the budget for the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,for
the fiscal year beginning January 1,1967,and ending December 31,1967,as
heretofore submitted to the Board of Trustees by the Town Clerk,and as
changed and amended by said Board of Trustees be,and the same hereby is
adopted and approved as the budget for the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,
for said fiscal year.
Section 4.The Board of Trustees herewith finds,determines,and
designates that this Ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation
of the public peace,health and safety,and whereas an emergency exists,
this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)days after its
final passage,adoption and publication.

true and correct copy of an Ordinance passed and adopted by the Board of
Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,at a regular meeting held on the
10th day of October,1966.
