ORDINANCE NO.4-71
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN TERRITORY TO ThE TO11N OF ESTES
PABK,COLORADO,TO BE KNON AND DESIGNATED
AS HOSPITAL ADDITION TO THE TONN OF ESTES
PARK,COLORADO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN
OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.That a Petition for Annexation,together
with four copies of a Flat of said territory as required by
law,was filed with the Board of Trustees on February 22,
1971,by the owner of one hundred per cent (100%)of the area
of the territory hereinafter described.The Board of Trustees,
by Resolution at its regular meeting on February 22.1971,
accepted said Petition and found end determined that the
applicable parts of Sections 3 and L of ttThe Municipal
Annexation Act of 1965”have been met and further determined
that an election was not required under Section 6 (2)of
“The Municipal Annexation Act of 1965”and further found
that no additional terms and conditions were to be imposed
upon said annexation except those set out on said Petition.
Section 2.That the annexation to the Town of Estes
Park of the following described territory,to be known and
designated as Hospital Addition to the Town of Estes Park is
hereby approved:
A portion of Prospect Valley,a subdivision of
the NE l/L of the SE 1%of Section 25,T5N,
R73W of the 6th P.M.,Larimer County,Colorado,
described as commencing at a steel pin which is
directly alongside the U.S.General Land Office
brass capped pipe and is the original East l%i..
corner of said Section 25;thence N89°L3’W along
the North line of the SE l/L of said Section 25
a distance of 12.5 feet to the true point of
beginning;thence continuing along the North
line of the SE l/L of said Section 25 N89°L13’W
a distance of 910.00 feet;thence South a distance
of L39.78 feet;thence East a distance of 2L[6.6O
feet;thence N75°L6’2O”E a distance of 212.73
feet;thence SO3°l3’LO”E a distance of 251.61

feet;thence N52°5ltE a distance of l02.LlJ feet;
thence N80°8’E a distance of 203.00 feet;thence
NL6°08’E a distance of 218.60 feet;thence
N0O°29’E a distance of 389.00 feet to the true
point of beginning.
Section 3.The Board of Trustees herewith finds,
determines and designates that this Ordinance is necessary
for the immediate preservation of the public peace,health
and safety,and whereas in the opinion of the Board of
Trustees an emergency exists,this Ordinance shall take
effect and be in force five (5)days after its final passage,
adoption and publication.
