AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR THE TOWN OF
ESTES PARK,COLORADO,FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGIN
NING ON THE 1ST DAY OF JANUARY,1973,AND ENDING
ON THE LAST DAY OF DECENBER,1973.ESTIMATING THE
AIUUET OF MONEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAX
LEVY BASED ON THE SAID BUDGET SO ADOPTED;ESTI
MATING THE AUNT OF MONEY TO BE DERIVED FROM
OTHER REVENUE SOURCES;AND SETTING FORTH THE
TOTAL ESTIMATED EXPENDITURES FOR EACH FUND.
WHEREAS,the Town Clerk designated to prepare the annual budget
for Estes Park,Colorado,for the fiscal year beginning January 1,1973,
and ending December 31,1973,has prepared said budget and submitted it
to the Board of Trustees,and
WHEREAS,the Board of Trustees held a public hearing on said budget
on October 9,1972,
AND WHEREAS,the assessed valuation of taxable property for the
year 1972 in the Town of Estes Park,as returned by the County Assessor
of LArimer County,Colorado,is the sum of $8,157,640.00
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.That the estimated revenue for the various funds of
the Town of Estes Park is:
General Fund
From unappropriated funds $212,422.00
From property taxes 40,788.00
From other revenue sources 1,172,728.00
Total General Fund $1,425,938.00
Light and Power Fund
From unappropriated funds $103,089.00
From other revenue sources 873,690.00
Total Light and Power Fund $976,779.00
Water Fund
From unappropriated funds $315,560.00
From other revenue sources 33O.500.OO
Total Water Funds $646,060.00
Public Library $18,571.00

Estes Park,Colorado,are as follows:

Section 3.That the budget for the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,
for the fiscal year beginning January 1,1973,and ending December 31,
1973,as heretofore submitted to the Board of Trustees be,and the
same is hereby adopted and approved as the budget for the Town of
Estes Park,Colorado,for said fiscal year.
Section 4.The Board of Trustees herewith find,determines,and
designates that this Ordinance is necessary for the immediate preserva
tion of the public peace,health and safety,and whereas an emergency
exists,this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)days
after its final passage,adoption and publication.
Passed and adopted this 9th day of October,1972.
