HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE 23-79‘ ORDINANCE NO.23-7’i AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO,TO BE KNOW AND DESIGNATED AS PALMER ADDITION TO THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO: Section 1.That a Petition for Annexation,together with four (4)copies of the plat of said territory as required by law, was filed with the Board of Trustees on the day of ]uL.y 1979,by the owners of one hundred percent (100%)of the area of the territory hereinafter described.The Board,by Resolution at its regular meeting on the 28th day of August,1979,accepted said petition and found and determined that the applicable parts of sections 31—12—104 and 31—12—105,C.R.S.1973,as amended,have been met and further determined that an election was not required under section 31—12—112,C.R.S.1973,as amended,and that notice and hearing as provided in sections 31—12—108 and 31—12—109, C.R.S.1973,as amended,are not required,and further found that no additional terms and conditions were to be imposed upon said annexation except that a petition for annexation of the property included within the addition be filed with the Municipal Sub district of the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District before final annexation of the addition. Section 2.That the annexation to the Town of Estes Park, Colorado,of the following described property,designated as “PALMER ADDITION”to the Town of Estes Park,Colorado is hereby approved: Part of the Souilast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 31,Township 5 North,Range 72 West of the 6th P.M.described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter thence South 89°07’East along the South line of said Southeast Quarter of Northwest Quarter,200 feet;thence North 0°48’West parallel with the West line of said Southeast Quarter of Northwest Quarter,416 feet to the Northerly line of that tract described © in Book 1292 at Page 97;thence North 89°07’West along said Northerly line to the West line of said Southeast Quarter of Northwest Quarter;thence South 00481 East along said West line 416 feet to the point of beginning,hereby designated as “PALMER ADDITION”to the Town of Estes Park, Colorado. Section 3.That the annexation of said territory is subject to the condition that a petition for annexation of the property included within the addition be filed with the Municipal Subdistrict of the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District before final annexation of the addition.
