Swanson Minutes of the regular meeting held July 14, 1969 were read and approved as read. Mr. Norman Putt, President of the Estes Park Gun and Archery Club, ap- peared before the Board and requested permission to construct an indoor basement shooting range on Stanley Park property owned by the Town of Estes Park and leased to the Recreation District, located near the in- tersection of Community Drive and North Saint Vrain Avenue. This build- ing will be financed by the Gun and Archery Club with the cooperation of the Recreation District. Mr. Putt indicated the Recreation District is planning to build the ground floor level building for the use as a Community Center. Mayor Brodie referred this request to Trustee Petrocine, Chairman of the Public Buildings and Parks Committee. Trustee Marvin L. Steele introduced and the Town Clerk read in full the following entitled ordinance and Trustee Steele moved it be passed on first and final reading: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14.4 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO, THE SAME PERTAINING TO STORAGE OF FLAMMABLE OR COMBUSTIBLE LIQUIDS. Trustee E. S. Erickson seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Henry D. Dannels, E. S. Erickson, N. T. Petrocine, Marvin L. Steele, Harry B. Tregent. Those voting "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Ronald C. Brodie declared said ordinance duly passed and adopted on first and final reading and ordered it numbered 372 and published according to law. Trustee Marvin L. Steele introduced and the Town Clerk read in full the following entitled ordinance and Trustee Steele moved it be passed on first and final reading: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 11.2 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO, THE SAME PERTAINING TO FIRE ZONES. Trustee Henry D. Dannels seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Henry D. Dannels, E. S. Erickson, N. T. Petrocine, Marvin L. Steele, Harry B. Tregent. Those voting "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Ronald C. Brodie declared said ordinance duly passed and adopted on first and final reading and ordered it numbered 373 and published accordingto law. Trustee Henry D. The proposed lease between the Town of Estes Park and the Estes Park Area Historical Museum, Inc. was read in full to the Board of Trustees. Trustee N. T. Petrocine introduced the following resolution and moved that it be passed and adopted: RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO: That the Mayor and Clerk are authorized and hereby directed to sign the proposed lease between the Town of Estes Park and Estes Park Area Histrocial Museum, Inc., dated July 28, 1969. Trustee Harry B. Tregent seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Henry D. Dannels, N. T. Petrocine, E. S. Erickson, Marvin L. Steele, Harry B. Tregent. Those voting "No" none. The proposed water extension agreement between the Town of Estes Park and the owners of Lone Pine Acres Subdivision was read in full to the Board of Trustees. Trustee Henry D. Dannels introduced the following resolution and moved it be passed and adopted: RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO: That the Mayor and Clerk are authorized and hereby directed to sign the proposed water extension agreement between the Town of Estes Park and the owners of Lone Pine Acres Addition, dated July 28, 1969. Trustee Marvin L. Steele seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Henry D. Dannels, E. S. Erickson, Marvin L. Steele, Harry B. Tregent, N. T. Petrocine. Those voting "No" none. Trustee E. S. Erickson, Chairman of the Public Sanitation Committee, reported on a Public Sanitation Committee meeting as itemized in the minutes of July 19, 1969, and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted. Trustee Harry B. Tregent seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Brodie Present: Mayor Also Present: Absent: Trustees: The minutes of a meeting of the Estes Park Planning Commission of July 15, 1969 were read to the Board of Trustees. Mayor Brodie informed the Board he has had a request from the Wheel Inn, located on Stanley Avenue, for permission to install additional direc- tional signs on the intersection of Stanley Avenue and Saint Vrain Ave- nue and Stanley Avenue and South Saint Vrain Avenue. The Board decided to refer this request to the State Highway engineer, Greeley Division. Mayor Brodie made the announcement that Harry Miles has resigned as a member of the Estes Park Planning Commission due to his new position as Secretary and Manager of the Estes Park Chamber of Commerce. Mayor Brodie has appointed Glenn Prosser to fill out the unexpired term of Harry Miles. There being no further business, it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn.
