Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the 14th day of July , A. D. 19 69 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Ronald C. Brodie Present: Mayor Ronald C. Brodie Trustees: Henry D. Dannels, E. S. Erickson, N. T. Petrocine, Marvin L. Steele, Also Present: Harry B. Tregent Town Administrator and Clerk Dale G. Hill Absent: Trustee Carl R. Swanson Minutes of the regular meeting held June 23, 1969 were read and approved as read. Trustee E. S. Erickson moved the following bills be allowed and paid and the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for same. (A Certified copy of the bills read and allowed are on file in the office of the Town Clerk under this date and made a part of the record of these proceedings by reference thereto.) Trustee Henry D. Dannels seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Henry D. Dannels, E. S. Erickson, N. T. Petrocine, Marvin L. Steele, Harry B. Tregent. Those voting "No" none. Mayor Ronald C. Brodie proceeded to conduct a public hearing in regard to the adoption by reference of the National Electric Code, 1968 edition. There were no persons present to speak in regard to this code. Mayor Brodie delcared the hearing closed. Trustee Marvin L. Steele introduced and the Town Clerk read in full, the following entitled ordinance and Trustee Marvin L. Steele moved it be passed on second and final reading: AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO ELECTRICAL CONDUCTORS AND EQUIPMENT INSTALLED WITHIN OR ON PUBLIC AND PRIVATE BUILDINGS AND OTHER PREMISES WITHIN THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO, INCLUDING YARDS, CARNIVAL AND PARK- ING LOTS, AND INDUSTRIAL SUBSTATIONS, AND ALSO CON- DUCTORS THAT CONNECT THE INSTALLATIONS TO A SUPPLY OF ELECTRICITY AND OTHER OUTSIDE CONDUCTORS ADJACENT TO THE PREMISES, AND ALSO MOBILE HOMES AND TRAVEL TRAILERS. ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE, 1968 EDITION. AMENDING SECTION 11.5 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO. Trustee E. S. Erickson seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Henry D. Dannels, E. S. Erickson, N. T. Petrocine, Marvin L. Steele, Harry B. Tregent. Those voting "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Ronald C. Brodie declared said ordinance duly passed and adopted on second reading and ordered it num- bered 368 and published according to law. Trustee Harry B. Tregent introduced and the Town Clerk read in full the following entitled ordinance and Trustee Tregent moved it be passed on second and final reading: AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 19.10 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO, THE SAME PERTAINING TO PARKING LOTS. Trustee Marvin L. Steele seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Henry D. Dannels, E. S. Erickson, N. T. Petrocine, Marvin L. Steele, Harry B. Tregent. Those voting "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Ronald C. S. Erickson introduced and the Town Clerk read in full, the following entitled ordinance and Trustee E. S. Erickson moved it be passed and adopted on first and final reading: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 21.10 (k) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO, THE SAME PERTAINING TO SUBDIVISIONS. Trustee Harry B. Tregent seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Henry D. Dannels, E. S. Erickson, N. T. Petrocine, Marvin L. Steele, Harry B. Tregent. Those voting "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Ronald C. Brodie declared said ordinance duly passed and adopted on first and final reading and order- ed it numbered 370 and published according to law. Trustee Marvin L. Steele moved the Board of Trustees fix the date for an adjourned hearing on the question of the organization of the Estes Park General Improvement Sewer District No. 1 pursuant to a petition filed with the Council on May 26, 1969, by resolution and order in a form to be submitted to the Mayor and Town Clerk for execution by the attornies. Trustee Henry D. Dannels seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Trustee N. T. Petrocine, Chairman of the Beautification Committee, re- ported on a Beautification Committee meeting as itemized in the minutes of July 2, 1969 and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted. Trustee Harry B. Tregent seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Trustee Henry D. Dannels, Chairman of the Water Committee, reported on a Water Committee meeting as itemized in the minutes of July 7, 1969 and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted. Trustee Marvin L. Steele seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Trustee Henry D. Dannels introduced and the Town Clerk read in full, the following entitled ordinance and Trustee Henry D. Dannels moved it be passed and adopted on first and final reading: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 6.28-1 AND 6.28-2 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO, THE SAME PERTAINING TO WATER RATES FOR TOWN USERS AND OUTSIDE USERS. Trustee E. S. Erickson seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Henry D. Dannels, E. S. Erickson, N. T. Petrocine, Marvin L. Steele, Harry B. Tregent. Those voting "No" nore. Whereupon Mayor Ronald C. Brodie declared said ordinance duly passed and adopted on first and final reading and ordered it numbered 371 and published according to law. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the 14th day of July A. D. 19 69 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Ronald C. Brodie Present: Mayor Trustees: Also Present: Absent: Trustee Harry B. Tregent, Chairman of the Police Committee, reported on a Police Committee meeting as itemized in the minutes of July 7, 1969 and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted. Trustee Marvin L. Steele seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. A letter from the Chamber of Commerce, dated July 12, 1969, regarding the continuation of Western Justice by Geray Play House and Lazy B Chuck Wagon was read to the Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees decided Western Justice could be continued providing it is held within the confines of Bond Park and does not interrupt traffic. There being no further business, it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn.
