D. 19 68 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Ronald C. Brodie Present: Mayor Ronald C. Brodie Trustees3ienry D. Dannels, E. S. Erickson, Marvin L. Steele, Harry B. Tregen Also Present: Town Clerk Dale G. Hill Absent: N. T. Petrocine, Carl R. Swanson Minutes of the regular meeting held November 25, 1968 were read and app- roved as read. Trustee Henry D. Dannels moved the following bills be allowed and paid and the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for same. (A Certified copy of the bills read and allowed are on file in the office of the Town Clerk under this date and made a part of the record of these proceedings by reference thereto.) Trustee E. S. Erickson seconded the motion. Up- on roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Henry D. Dannels, E. S. Erickson, Marvin L. Steele, Harry B. Tregent. Those voting "No" none. The Water Department bill submitted by Eastwood and Gavell in the amount of $3,296.26 was tabled for further information and will be considered at the first meeting in January. The Clerk presented an application from Brodie's Super Market, Inc., dba Brodie's Super Market, 348 East Elkhorn Avenue, Estes Park, Colorado for a renewal of his 3.2% beer license. Trustee Harry B. Tregent moved the application be approved. Trustee Henry D. Dannels seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Henry D. Dannels, E. S. Erickson, Marvin L. Steele, Harry B. Tregent. Those voting "No" none. Trustee Henry D. Dannels introduced and the Town Clerk read in full, the following entitled ordinance and Trustee Henry D. Dannels moved it be passed and adopted on second and final reading: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 12.4 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO, RELATING TO ZONING DISTRICTS AND ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY. Trustee E. S. Erickson seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Henry D. Dannels, E. S. Erickson, Marvin L. Steele, Harry B. Tregent. Those vot- ing "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Ronald C. Brodie declared said ordinance duly passed and adopted on second reading, ordered it numbered 355, and published according to law. Trustee Marvin L. Steele introduced and the Town Clerk read in full, the following entitled ordinance and Trustee Marvin L. Steele moved it be passed and adopted on second and final reading: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17.28 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO, RELATING TO LOUDSPEAKERS AND NOISE MAKING DEVICES. Trustee Henry D. Dannels seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Henry D. Dannels, E. S. Erickson, Marvin L. Steele, Harry B. Tregent. Those voting "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Ronald C. Dannels introduced the following resolution and moved it be passed and adopted: RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO: That the Mayor and Town Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to sign seven series J Bonds, Number M 215 680 J to M 215 686 J inclusive and submit the same to the Estes Park Bank for cash. Trustee E. S. Erickson seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Henry D. Dannels, E. S. Erickson, Marvin L. Steele, Harry B. Tregent. Those voting "No" none. Trustee Marvin L. Steele, Chairman of the Building Code Committee, re- ported on a Building Code Committee meeting as itemized in the minutes of December 5, 1968 and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted. Trustee Henry D. Dannels seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Trustee E. S. Erickson introduced and the Town Clerk read in full, the following entitled ordinance and Trustee E. S. Erickson moved it be passed and adopted on second and final reading: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 16.1 AND 16.3 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO, THE SAME PERTAINING TO THE DEFINITION OF GARBAGE AND WASTE AND THE BURNING OF GARBAGE, WASTE OR OTHER MATERIALS OR MATTER. Trustee Marvin L. Steele seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Henry D. Dannels, Marvin L. Steele, Harry B. Tregent, E. S. Erickson. Those voting "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Ronald C. Brodie declared said ordinance duly passed and adopted on second reading and ordered it numbered 357 and published according to law. Member Marvin L. Steele reported on a Public Buildings and Parks Committee meeting as itemized in the minutes of December 3, 1968 and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted. Trustee Harry B. Tregent seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. A letter dated December 9, 1968 from Mrs. Darwin Staley, president of the Estes Park Public Library Board, recommending the appointment of Mrs. Elmer Olander to the Board for a five year term beginning January 1, 1969, was read to the Board. Trustee Harry B. Tregent moved Mrs. Elmer Olander be appointed to the Estes Park Public Library Board for a term of five years beginning January 1, 1969. Trustee E. S. Erickson seconded the motion. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park an the 9th day of December , A. D. 19 68 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Ronald C. Brodie Present: Mayor Trustees: Also Present: Absent: Trustee Harry B. Tregent reported to the Board that the Larimer County Commissioners have authorized a payment to the Town in the amount of $744.00 to assist with the 1968 ambulance expense. Trustee Harry B. Tregent stated he expected more favorable participation from the county in future years. D. Ned Linegar, Secretary -Manager of the Estes Park Chamber of Commerce, reported that Public Utilities Commission granted the Yellow Cab Company their request for extended service in the Estes Park area. There being no further business, it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn.
