Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the 27th day of_MaY__m _ meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor... Ronald C. Brodie Present: Mayor Ronald C. Brodie A. D. 19.68._ at regular Trustees:Henry D. Dannels, E. S. Erickson N. T. Petrocine, Marvin L. Steele Carl R. Swanson, Harry B. Tregent Also Present: Town Clerk Dale G. Hill Absent: None Minutes of the regular meeting held May 13, 1968 were read and approved as read. The Clerk read a letter from the Colorado Municipal League dated May 17, 1968 regarding the opposition to the rate increase proposed by the Mountain States Telephone Company before the Colorado Public Utilities Commission. Trustee Erickson moved that the Town participate in the financial support as stated in the above mentioned letter (2J cents per capita using the 1968 state estimated population figures). Trustee Petrocine seconded the motion and upon roll call the motion carried by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Dannels, Erickson, Petrocine, Steele and Tregent. Those voting "No" none. Henry P. Dannels, Chairman of the Water Committee reported on Water Committee meetings held on May 15, 1968 and May 21, 1968 as itemized in the minutes and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted. Trustee Steele seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unan- imously carried. Mayor Brodie excused Trustee Petrocine from the meeting at this time. E. S. Erickson, Chairman of the Public Sanitation Committee reported on a Public Sanitation Committee meeting as itemized in the minutes of May 18, 1968 and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted. Trustee Steele seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unan- imously carried. Trustee Swanson arrived and took his seat on the council. Harry B. Tregent, Chairman of the Light and Power Committee reported on a Light and Power Committee meeting as itemized in the minutes of May 20, 1968 and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted. Trustee Erickson seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Trustee Carl R. Swanson, Chairman of a committee to draw specifications for the bidding of purchasing gasoline and diesel fuel oil, presented his Committee's recommendations in regard to bid forms. After examin- ing the bid forms, Trustee Swanson moved the invitation and specifica- tions be approved and that the Town Clerk is directed to issue the in- vitation to the following: 1. Continental 0i1 Co., Rollen Sutter, Agent. 2. Enco 0i1 Co., Ed Gibson, Agent. 3. Luckett Oil Co., Steve Moore, Agent. 4. Schraeder oil Co., Agent, Ernest Cink Trustee Tregent seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Dannels, Erickson, Steele, Swanson and Tregent. Those voting "No" none. Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the, _day of , A D. 19 at regular meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor Present: Mayor Trustees: Also Present: Absent: A letter from Miss Goldie L. Bezold regarding the appearance of the C. M. Fulton property on W. Riverside Drive, was read to the Board of Trustees. The Clerk was instructed to write Mr. Fulton a letter re- questing him to have the property cleaned. A letter from Rev. Clement A. Green thanking the Town for the drainage work on Birch Ave., was read to the Board of Trustees. Mayor Pro-Tem Tregent reported on the Trail Ridge opening last Saturday. The Clerk was directed to write letters of appreciation to the Yellow Cab Company and Mr. Fred Novack, Superintendent of Rocky Mountain Nat- ional Park. Mayor Ronald C. Brodie reported on the "Heart of Longmont" celebration held last Saturday. There being no further business, it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn.
