D. 19....68_ at regular Present: Mayor Clarence Graves Trustees: Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, William Grove, N. T. Petrocine, Carl Swanson, Harry Tregent. Also Present: Town Clerk Dale G. Hill Absent: None Minutes of the regular meeting held December 11, 1967 were read and approved as read. Henry Dannels, Chairman of the Water Committee reported on a meeting of the Water Committee as itemized in the minutes of January 2, 1968 and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted. Trustee Carl Swanson seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, William Grove, N. T. Petrocine, Carl Swanson and Harry Tregent. Those voting "No" none. Trustee Henry Dannels moved the following bills be allowed and paid and the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for same. (A certified copy of the bills read and allowed are on file in the office of the Town Clerk under this date and made a part of the record of these proceedings by reference thereto.) Trustee William Grove seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Mayor Graves and the Board of Trustees proceeded to conduct a public hearing on the creation of the Little Prospect Mountain Sanitary Sewer District. Mayor Graves reviewed the history of this project. Town Engineer Van Horn discussed the methods used in preparing the estimates. Five persons who were present indicated they were in favor of the dis- trict. There was no one in opposition to the district. Harry Tregent, Trustee, intoduced and the Town Clerk read in full, the following entitled ordinance and Trustee Carl Swanson moved it be passed and adopted on first reading: AN ORDINANCE CREATING AN IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT IN THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO, TO BE KNOWN AS LITTLE PROSPECT MOUNTAIN SANITARY SEWER DISTRICT: ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION THEREIN OF SEWER IMPROVEMENTS AND PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUE OF BONDS OF SUCH DISTRICT IN PAYMENT OF SAID IMPROVEMENTS. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, William Grove, N. T. Petrocine, Carl Swanson and Harry Tregent. Those voting "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Clarence Graves declared said Ordinance duly passed and adopted, ordered it numbered 336 and published according to law. Trustee Carl Swanson moved that the Town Clerk is ordered to publish the "Invitation to Bid" contained in the Contract Documents for Little Prospect Mountain Sanitary Sewer District in the Estes Park Trail on January 13, 19, 26, 1968, and that the bids for the construction of the sanitary sewer in said district shall be opened on February 12, 1968 at 7:30 P.M. in the Town Hall in Estes Park, Colorado. Trustee Henry Dannels seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following voges. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, William Grove, N. T. Petrocine, Carl Swanson and Harry Tregent. Meeting called to order by Mayor_ Present: Mayor Trustees: Also Present: Absent: Mrs. Merlin K. Potts, President of the Estes Park Women's Club, appeared with a delegation and submitted a request that the Town establish the library as a public library as defined in Colorado Revised Estimates of 1963, Chapter 84. Mrs.Potts presented the plans for the expansion of the library along with cost estimates. Mrs. Potts also submitted copies of the 1967 and 1968 budgets for the library. Mayor Clarence Graves informed the delegation from the Women's Club that the Town would take this request under advisement. A decision will be made in the very near future. The minutes of the Estes Park Planning meeting of December 19, 1967 were read to the Board of Trustees. Trustee Henry Dannels moved the minutes be accepted. Trustee Carl Swanson seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, William Grove, N. T. Petrocine, Carl Swanson and Harry Tregent. Those voting "No" none. Trustee Harry Tregent reported on a meeting of the Light and Power Committee as itemized in the minutes of December 18, 1967 and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted. Trustee N. T. Petrocine seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, William Grove, N. T. Petrocine, Carl Swanson and Harry Tregent. Those voting "No" none. Harry Tregent, Chairman of the Street Committee, reported on a meeting of the Street Committee as itemized in the minutes of January 5, 1968 and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted. Trustee Carl Swanson seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, William Grove, N. T. Petrocine, Carl Swanson and Harry Tregent. Those voting "No" none. N. T. Petrocine, Chairman of the Police Committee reported on a meeting of the Police Committee as itemized in the minutes of December 13, 1967 and moved that the minutes be approved and adopted. Trustee William Grove seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, William Grove, N. T. Petrocine, Carl Swanson and Harry Tregent. Those voting "No" none. Trustee Carl Swanson reported on a meeting held on January 8, 1968 at the Colorado Department of Public Health in Denver Colorado, conducted by the Colorado Water Pollution Control Commission, in regard to pro- posed regulations of septic tank locations. There being no further business, it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn. Attest: Town Clerk
