Park, Larimer County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Town Hall in ;aid Town of

Absent: None
Minutes of the regular meeting held November 14, 1966, were read and approved
as read.
Mr. W. E. Robertson and Mr. Jack Schlendorf appeared before the Board of
Trustees representing the businesses located on Highway #34 on Big Thompson
Avenue, Mr. Robertson reviewed the condition of the septic tanks in this
area and informed the Board the business people in this area have retained
Frank Starkey as their attorney and the firm of Phillips-Carter-Reister as en-
gineers. They requested any assistance from the Town possible, financial or
otherwise. Mr. Robertson wished to go on record in recommending that the Estes
Park Sanitation District be dissolved and that their functions be taken over by
the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park.
Mr. Bartlett and Mr. West appeared before the Board of Trustees representing
Mr. Adam Koch, and requested the present curb cut on the east side of Moraine
Avenue on Lot 22, Block 5, Town of Estes Park be dissolved and that a new curb
cut 10 feet in width be allowed approximately 11 feet south of the now existing
curb cut. Mayor Graves instructed Trustee Harry Tregent, Chairman of the
Street Committee, to inspect the proposed curb cut change and give the neces-
sary permission.
Trustee Henry Dannels introduced the following entitled ordinance and moved
that it be passed and adopted on first reading:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION TWO OF ORDINANCE NO,
185 OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO AND SECTION
12.4 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,
COLORADO, RELATING TO ZONING DISTRICTS AND ZONING
CERTAIN PROPERTY.
Trustee Carl Swanson seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed
by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, Henry
Dannels, William Grove, N. T. Petrocine, Carl Swanson, and Harry Tregent.
Those voting "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Graves declared said ordinance duly
passed and adopted on first reading, ordered it numbered 308, and published
according to law.
An application for a renewal of a Retail Fermented Malt Beverage License
for sale of 3.2% beer only was submitted for Ronald C. Brodie, dba Brodie's
Grocery and Market, 348 East Elkhorn Avenue, Estes Park, Colorado. Trustee
N. T. Petrocine moved the application be approved. Trustee Harry Tregent
seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following
votes. Those voting "Yes" Henry Dannels, William Grove, N. T. Petrocine,
Carl Swanson, and Harry Tregent. Those voting "No" none.
An application for a renewal of a Beer, Wine and Spirituous Liquor License
for sale in hotels or restaurants by the drink only was submitted for William
E. Logue, dba Club Jubilee, 120 West Elkhorn, Estes Park, Colorado. Trustee
Henry Dannels moved the application be approved. Trustee Ronald Brodie
seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following
votes. Those voting "Yes" Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, William Grove,
N. T. Petrocine, Carl Swanson, and Harry Tregent. Those voting "No" none.

The audit of the Water Department books was presented to the Council, and
Trustee Henry Dannels moved the audit be accepted. Trustee Carl Swanson
seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
Trustee N. T. Petrocine, Chairman of the Police Committee, reported the
vehicle formerly used as a second ambulance is now for sale by the Ford
Garage at a price of $392.00. The Quota Club has urged the Town to pur-
chase this vehicle. Mayor Graves instructed the Police Committee to make
a recommendation on this vehicle to the Board of Trustees.
Trustee N. T. Petrocine reported the Chamber of Commerce has asked for a
legal opinion on an area -wide sales tax. Mayor Graves will instruct the
Town Attorney to provide a legal opinion.
Trustee Ronald Brodie, Chairman of the Light & Power Committee, reported on
a meeting of the Light & Power Committee as itemized in their minutes of
November 21, 1966, and moved the minutes be approved and adopted. Trustee
Harry Tregent seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously
carried.
Mayor Graves announced a public meeting has been scheduled for December 15
at 7:30 p.m., for the purpose of discussing the Little Prospect Mountain
Sewer District.
There being no further business, it was regularly moved, seconded, and
carried that the meeting adjourn.
