Meeting held in the Town Hall in said Town of Estes Park on the 8th day of August meeting hour. Meeting called to order by Mayor. ... Clarence A__Graves , A. D. 19_66 _ at regular Present: Mayor Clarence A. Graves Trustees: Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, William Grove, N. T. Petrocine, Harry Tregent Also Present: Town Clerk Dale G. Hill Absent: Trustee Carl Swanson Minutes of the regular meeting held July 25, 1966, were read and approved as read. Mrs. Norma Green, Mr. Lloyd Duncan and Mrs. Roberta Porter read the Model Traffic Code for Colorado Municipalities, 1966 in its entirety. The Town Clerk proceeded to read the ordinance adopting the Model Traffic Code for Colorado Municipalities, 1966 by reference. Trustee N. T. Petrocine intro- duced the following entitled ordinance and moved that it be passed on first reading: AN ORDINANCE FOR THE REGULATION OF TRAFFIC UPON THE STREETS OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO. ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE "MODEL TRAFFIC CODE FOR COLORADO MUNICIPALITIES, 1966". AMENDING SECTION 19.1 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO, AND ALL OTHER ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT WITH THIS ORDINANCE. Trustee Henry Dannels seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, William Grove, N. T. Petrocine, and Harry Tregent. Those voting "No" none. Whereupon Mayor Graves declared said ordinance duly passed on first reading, ordered it numbered 301, and published according to law. The Clerk was instructed to publish the necessary legal publica- tions for public hearing on the above mentioned ordinance to be scheduled for September 12, 1966. The final reading of this ordinance will be September 12, 1966. Trustee Ronald Brodie moved the following bills be allowed and paid and the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants for same. (A certified copy of the bills read and allowed are on file in the office of the Town Clerk under this date and made a part of the record of these proceedings by reference thereto.) Trustee Harry Tregent seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Trustee Harry Tregent introduced the following resolution and moved it be passed and adopted: RESOLUTI 0 N BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO: That the Town Clerk be appointed to prepare the budget for 1967. Trustee Ronald Brodie seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes. Those voting "Yes" Trustees Ronald Brodie, Henry Dannels, William Grove, N. T. Meeting called to order by Mayor Clarenr_e_A—GravPs Present: Mayor Also Present: Absent: Trustees: Trustee Harry Tregent, member of the Public Buildings and Parks Committee, reported on a meeting of the Public Buildings and Parks Committee as itemized in their minutes of July 28, 1966, and moved the minutes be approved and adopted. Trustee William Groved seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Trustee Henry Dannels, Chairman of the Water Committee, reported on a meeting of the Water Committee as itemized in their minutes of August 3, 1966, and moved the minutes be approved and adopted. Trustee Harry Tregent seconded thmotion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried. Trustee William Grove, Chairman of the Building Code Committee, reported that Building Permits were down for the month of July. Trustee N. T. Petrocine, Chairman of the Police Committee, reported his committee would meet August 9 to consider the two questions regarding the Policemen's Pension Fund and the Ambulance Service. The Clerk was instructed to have Mr, George Lambert inspect the sanitation conditions in the Dinner Bell and Log Cabin Cafe.
